How to install manual CCcam on DM800?

Hi , i have Dm800 on gemini 5.1 so How to install manual CCcam without server??

I'd like to know this as well. I've just reinstalled my DB800 with Gemini and cant find a download link for any of the softcams.

I think Gemini have removed all Cccam downloads from their server. Try Googling for CCcam 2.14_ful*.tgz and copying this to tmp folder on your dm800 and doing a manual install.

yes sure u can either ftp in with script or simply download ipk - unrar file ftp to /tmp
then manually install ipk
instructions are included in the download readme

I spent nearly a day to find an answer for this. One of the ways that I found is as below:

1- FTP CCcam (version 2.2.1, can be downloaded from here: http://www.dreamboxtool.com/CCcam/CC...2-Project.html) into dreambox'es "tmp" folder

Note:
If you're using other files, make sure that they don't end in .zip or .tgz as they won't work in this method. The extension should only be .tar.gz (which is an executable file)

2- Goto Blue Panel, select "File Browser"

3- Choose the location of your file that you uploaded (i.e. usr/tmp/ )

4- Select the CCcam_2.2.1.tar.gz file and press ok to install it manually (or the yellow button, which does the same thing)

5- Restart your dreambox

6- Done

Hi, i followed the above instructions but i cannot install it through file browser. I install it from the add-ons/manual install but no cccam is displayed in the blue panel.

I have a dm800 clone with gemini2

Not sure if this is different in a clone version, but make sure that the extension of your file is .tar.gz - This is the only way that dream box recognises this file as an executable file, otherwise it won't work. Also, restart the dream box after you've done this.

to tmp folder with 755 chmod...

cfg goes in--> /etc

use remote..to navigate to /tmp ...highlight the *.ipk file..
hit green button for install...


you might also want to look for-->

g3wizard_0.14-r0_mipsel.ipk

which allows you to switch...stop /restart emu´s in bluepanel...

Is there anyone here who could post a usefull way to get the CCCAM working on the DB.
